Kinderzuschlag: child supplement documents

Apply to Familienkasse. The main application includes annexes for the child, applicant and partner. Additional annexes are only required where your circumstances call for them.
Documents and information to prepare
- Main application KiZ 1
- Anlage Kind KiZ 1-AnK for each child
- Applicant and partner annex KiZ 1-AnA
- Income evidence and payslips for the required period
- Employer-completed Verdienstbescheinigung KiZ 5 if needed
- Tenancy agreement and current housing cost evidence
- Evidence of maintenance or advance maintenance where applicable
- Self-employment, asset or special-needs records only where relevant
Important to know
The last 3 payslips are not a universal rule. The relevant period and annexes depend on the current application and your family’s circumstances.
